Their first face-to-face meeting.


Like most adolescent boys, Charlie is terrified of girls and spends most of his time staring at Lola from a safe distance.


Sometimes he does venture closer, but usually ends up just rolling over and showing his belly in surrender right away.


A couple of days later, he gets brave enough to bat at her, the cat equivalent of pulling pigtails.


Lola mostly just ignores him.


She really only pays attention when it's feeding time...


...and she can steal his food.


and actually, these pics are a couple of weeks old. They're not cuddlemonkeys with each other yet, but Charlie isn't as freaked out by her anymore and will even, on occasion, lick her face. It's kind of adorable.

That's awesome! Roommates upstairs ending up having to adopt an abandoned kitten, which grew big really fast, and kicks the crap outta her older cat. Her cat can't even come in the house without someone picking her up and walking her through safely to get deposited in her 'room' while much grown kitteh roams the house. You're lucky.

oh no! I was really worried about how they would interact because my last cat HATED all other animals. But Charlie's always reacted well when my sister brings her cats over, and when I looked to adopt another one, I made sure to ask if the cat got along with other animals. The lady I got Lola from assured me that she loved being around other cats, and it seems to be true. :D
