- The old lady was Heather Hudson! I'm guessing not the Alpha Flight member, though. pooh.
- It makes me sad that they were so quick to kill off everyone. No John Wraith? No Blob? No
- Has there ever been a more perfect casting than Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool?
- Speaking of, I'm sorely disappointed that the after-credits didn't show him, or at least them finding his body. What the hell? I stayed to watch Wolverine getting his drink on in Japan? pthbbbt.
- I still think Josh Holloway would've been a much better Gambit, but this one was pretty good.
- Speaking of Deadpool (belatedly), how excited am I that he's getting his own movie? SO EXCITED. I wonder who they'll cast as Blind Al. Bea Arthur would've been perfect. :(
- I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Sabretooth and Wolverine being brothers thing. I guess it adds an interesting dynamic to their relationship, but the comics geek in me is all 'REJECT!'
- I want to know now what happened to all the mutants that were rescued off TMI. I guess they'll be the subject of that First Class movie? Will they have Gambit, too? Whatever happened to him anyways? I guess this rules out any movieverse romance between him and Rogue.
- whoa, wait a minute. Kayla's sister is supposed to be Emma Frost? LAME. SO LAME. DO NOT APPROVE. >:(

I came back and found this entry because I just saw Wolverine and was kind of like, Dude, I didn't think that was bad? Especially after hearing everyone say it was the worst crap ever, wtf? I had a good time! xD

I was also disappointed that so many cool people got killed off right away. I thought Wade or whatever and Dominic Monaghan seemed really interesting. :(

Okay, so he WAS supposed to be Sabertooth? I was also confused by that because like. In the regular X-Men movies they don't allude to that at all faldjfke.

I don't know a ton about the X-Men comic verse, but from what I did know, Gambit was always my favorite! I've read a fair number of Gambit/Wolverine fics in my day, and I was disappointed that he had such a small part in this! I wanted to see him DO more shit.

But yes, overall I actually liked it! :D

YAY!!!! I'm so glad someone else liked it! I mean, I don't know, I guess people were expecting Citizen Kane or something, and I was all like, 'It's a freakin' comic book movie! C'mon!'

and GAMBIT IS MADE OF AWESOME. I would love love LOVE for him to get his own movie because he was always my favorite, too.

That's how I feel! I've heard people say it's the worst comic book movie they've seen and I'm like, WHAT?? It really wasn't that bad at all! And have you heard of fucking Elektra?

He really isssss. But all I'm really holding out for right now is that Magneto movie to get made, because IAN MCKELLEN IS MY BOYFRIEND. ♥
