I feel alone because I actually *like* the new comment pages. but this is probably helped my belief that customized comment pages are the devil and everyone should be using the default style anyways. It tells you where the new comments on a post are!

The only complaint I really agree with is the deletion of subject lines for comments, but even with that, does anyone ever use them outside of comment fic communities?

I don't like not being able to just click to go to what I know is the new comment. And the weird way you have to expand things. And the userpics. It's just a hoard of dumb.

Customized comment pages ARE the devil, but I don't care for what they've done to the look of the default--the margins are too small but the text size is too big? It makes reading fic kind of pthhbbt.

Personally, I kind of like it. I do wish my icons were still in alphabetical order, but in the grand scheme of things, I can certainly deal!

Has it changed custom comment pages at all? Aren't they still custom? I don't mind most of it, except I really don't need thumbnails of my icons, and since I have almost 200 of them, picking has now become somewhat hazardous. And it seems my hook isn't working anymore. BLARG.

AND they're not in alpha order anymore, they're in the order I uploaded them! Whiiiich is so not helpful. But okay, other than the icon thing, I like the layout just fine. I'm okay with progress, though I am also okay with "if it ain't broke..."

I don't mind the look so much-- and the multimedia links are kind of handy-- but I really miss subjects and the preview button, I'm not a fan of navigating long comment threads now, and I hate that I have to wade through thumbnails of all of my icons to find the one I want. Keywords were SUCH a good idea and made things so much easier and now they've killed them.

But it really seems to me like things take FOREVER to load/expand now thanks to all the flashy animations. Or is that just me? It took me three tries to get this page to load so I could comment. :P

Ugh. Did I mention how much I hate choosing an Icon now? Hate.

IT'S THE MARGINS AND THE GIANT FONT. THEY ASSAULT MY EYES. I want the threads and the subject lines back. I would let them keep their stupid giant font and their entire lack of margins if they'd give me all my comment features back.
