sooo...I pretty much cried the whole episode. Every single damn reunion and rememberance scene. I freakin' bawled my head off with Sayid and Shannon. and the Juliet/Sawyer scene. WE CAN GO DUTCH. brb, crying forever.

oh, show. I just knew that's what the final scene would be, and it still got me.

I wish Mr. Eko would've shown up, too. :(

WAIT WAIT WAIT. Has anyone seen the movie Jacob's Ladder? I think the sideways 'verse was kind of like that, with all the talk about letting go. That's why Ben didn't go into the church, that's why the others weren't there. They weren't ready to let go and move on.

Or Michael and Walt? :(:(:(:( Or Miles? Or Ana Lucia? Or a lot of people that were just as important as freaking Shannon and her vampire brother. I see how she's there b/c of Sayid but like COME ON why them and not the others (especially Michael and Walt)?

I guess it's just the original cast, and Desmond because of his importance. and I'm assuming they didn't have Michael because they would've had to have Walt, and the actor is too old now?

eh, I'm reaching there.

Though Michael & Walt are part of the original cast. They could explained older!Walt somehow - it would make more sense than Daniel's piano/Driveshaft concert. EVEN IN AFTERLIFE THAT WAS A BAD IDEA, FARRADAY. :(

I think Michael and Walt were the weird exception. Even if the actor who played Michael had contract issues, they could have had Walt. Idk.

well, the actor who played Walt is too old now, so I guess I can understand that. I wish they would've had Michael, though.

Mr. Eko. Yes.

But hey, VINCENT! :-)

When Vincent laid down next to Jack, I completely lost it. BIG SOBBING MESS.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

or perhaps I am simply overthinking it?

[identity profile] cathybites.livejournal.com 2010-05-25 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
okay, this is just my theory, but the Sideways 'Verse was Limbo, where they all went when they died. and it wasn't until they remembered their lives before that they were able to let go and move on to...well. Wherever the next stage of the afterlife was. For the Losties, I'm guessing that since they had such an impact on each other's lives, part of that process was finding everyone and moving on together. ooh ooh! I just thought of this, but kind of like how they had to return to the island together, and how they had to leave together.

Michael, Ben, and everyone else weren't ready to move on, for whatever reason, so they stayed in the Sideways 'Verse (or, never showed up at all HMMPH.)

oh okay, so they're not implying that the Island stuff never happened? I wasn't sure about that. And I don't really get why Penny was there, except for something about Christian saying that everyone dies at some point. but apparently all the kids are orphaned? I am so confused, LOL.

I was absolutely loving it up until like the last five minutes when it flew right over my head. terry o'quinn is my acting hero. his faaaace.

Penny was there because of Desmond. and the kids are...uh. I don't know. I don't really know why Aaron is still a baby, either.

also, just realized that when Juliet was dying and said 'It worked,' she was not, in fact, talking about the bomb. GOD. THIS SHOW.

I just watched it. I NEED A HUG. *cries*

Sawyer/Juliet are my alltime Lost OTP. I fucking ADORE them.
