cathybitesI wasn't going to post anything about this since I'm sure that anyone who knows me knows where I stand in relation to what's going on with Wincon and all, but I think that even if you're not in SPN fandom, you need to look at some of the discussion taking place because it underscores a much larger problem going on with our society. sparkymonster has an excellent but possibly trigger-y post on rape & rape culture.
This has gone beyond what may or may not have happened in Baltimore for me. The behavior on display from the party in question is absolutely repulsive, and had I been sympathetic towards her at the start, I certainly wouldn't be now.
