Today has been pretty swell so far (crappy weather notwithstanding).

- These shoes just came in for me, and omigod, I am so in love with them already. A little too big, but that's an easy fix, and they're pretty comfortable otherwise. I plan on wearing them to the BFF's wedding next week. I think she'll love them. :D

- I GOT RANGERS SEASON TICKETS! I'd originally been offered a full-season, which would've been awesome but way too expensive. But then I was offered a mini-plan instead, which I snatched right up, just so I could get my foot in the door for when I win the lottery and am able to afford a full season. oh man, WHY ISN'T IT TIME FOR HOCKEY YET?!?! I was so desperate for some that I actually watched Team Canada's scrimmage last night.

- I was able to get strawberries for my breakfast this morning. Usually, Whole Foods' breakfast bar is either out, or they stick them in the fruit salad, where the strawberries are then contaminated by melon juice. But this morning they had them sitting out separate. YAY!

and in other awesome news: Big Moves Boston asked me to do more artwork for an upcoming show of theirs, and! Here is the art! (might not be worksafe) If you're in the Boston area, you should definitely go! (although, if you're reading this and are in the Boston area, you're probably already going.)

DUDE! I think I may be able to go to a Chicago/NY game in December here in Chicago, even if it's uh. Standing room only. STILL. I have no moneys, so I can't really justify spending money on decent tickets...even if I really fucking want to. :S But yeah, December 9th, eight days before mah birthday, BEST GIFT to myself EVER, I think. :DDD

God, I wish I could get Rangers season tickets. Living in Denver kind of makes that not possible though. I split seasons for the Avalanche with some friends out here since a full season is way too expensive.

I used to be totally obnoxious as a child and make wildly dramatic retching sounds every time my mother cut up cantaloupe for my brother (who loved it), because even the smell is horrible to me. I can cut other melons, but definitely not eat them. and they do flavor everything they touch.
