HUZZAH! I have finished my art for bigbangblackout! In celebration, I wanted to draw something quick, so I poked affectingly for a prompt and she said:

oh maybe bones and jim stargazing but jim's doing more gazing at bones?

because the only thing Jim loves more than space is Bones. TRUFAX.

but, YAY! One piece of art crossed off the list; about 12091209120391 more to go.

and maybe, at some point, I'll actually be able to write something, too. SIGH SIGH.

(although Bones would argue the burning is probably a symptom of some terrifying new space disease Jim picked up after traipsing off into the swamps on Kappa VI, even after all of Bones' warnings not to do so because who knows what's out there and of course - of fucking course - when they find Jim, he's disoriented and feverish and tangled up in sentient vines. and when they finally free him, he all but collapses in Bones' arm, eyes bright as he scratches at the rash on his chest and says, "Bones. Boooooones, Bones, Bones--" "For fuck's sake, Jim, what? Stop patting my face." "I think I love you. Like...like burning. Burning all over my skin." "Sigh." *hypospray*)

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I LOVE THE COLOURING IN THIS SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH KSDJFHDSKJHEKJDFHDJKF. You did a FANTASTIC job of using a limited colour palette and making it seem completely layered and almost 3D, I'm so entranced by your framing space in a circle and the rim lighting on Jim and Bones. THE SWEET BBs, NAWWWWW.

I would encourage you to draw moar but then...I love your writing too! OH THE CONUNDRUM.
