Fic rec! First Contact by florahart, in which a new planet is found and the people won't deal with Kirk until he is married. Thinking it won't matter once they leave the planet, Kirk chooses Bones, only to have the leaders say they have to consummate their marriage in front of everybody (crew, aliens, god). So so brilliant and hot and hilarious and HOT.

also, in case you've been hiding under a rock, my darling Glock drew some GORGEOUS Kirk/Bones art. GUH.

and the more I listen to Lady Gaga, the more I think she's kind of a genius. She's just got an understanding of how to write some damn catchy dance music. plus, I kind of dig her style. It's kooky and fun.
