He is ADORABLECAKES. There's a lot of Chekov fic out there, actually. Well, a lot more than I expected, which is good. And Chekov/Sulu seems to be the go to pairing for both of them, which pleases me.

Sulu keyed in the last of the sequence for an autopilot subroutine he'd been tinkering then tilted his head back. "Don't see me enough here, Chekov?" He smiled, hands taking over almost from muscle-memory to compensate the ship's inertial drift towards the planet below. It looked like a yellowed, waxy marble. "Did you need to work on something?"

"I would want for us to work on-" Chekov paused, more than long enough to draw Sulu's attention. He licked his lips then nodded decisively, cheeks pinking but eyes determinedly set. "Enjoying time. Together."

Being on duty had never made for a greater save or frustration. Sulu cleared his throat and pressed his knees in, listened to the chirps and thrum of the bridge, checked on his algorithm relays. Saved because maybe tackling the kid outright for complete debauchment on first contact might not be the best way to proceed. Frustrated because, well, he'd definitely prefer to be doing that, right about now. Instead he nodded, reached midconsole where Chekov's hand rested over controls both could handle when necessary, brushed their fingertips when he fiddled something.

"Mr Chekov, I share your assertion." Sulu bit the inside of his cheek and told himself don't grin like an asshole don't grin like an asshole.

Chekov peeked over his shoulder, glanced at Mr Spock sat in the captain's chair, on shift-command for the next several hours. "So, you are with agreement that my deductive reasoning is- logical?" When he looked back at Sulu he was clearly fighting that same grin.

Sulu hummed affirmative, tried to still the sudden anxiousness in his limbs to just get up and go already, launched a probe at Spock's quiet reminder. "Probe launched, sir," almost burst into a roll of hysterical giggles when Chekov choked then coughed and found his fingertip again.

"Seventeen?" McCoy snarked, already had his hands clamped around narrow hips, thumbs tracking small circles of impatience and reluctance. "Goddamned seventeen?"

Chekov waggled a brow and smiled in a way that just made McCoy angrier. "Yes god-damned seventeen. And god-damned prodigy, so you are only being foolish if you think-"

"Oh I think I'm just about to be all kinds of foolish, kid, don't you worry about that." McCoy hitched him up, arm slung under his bony ass, other arm smashed between sharp shoulderblades and the wall. Chekov was obliging and definitely smart; the annoying brat started climbing him ably, fingers dug into his sides to hold on, laughed tickly and buzzed. "In fact, don't worry--hell don't even think--about anything at all."

He bit Chekov's neck, jaw, cheek, then smothered the kid's excited babbling with a hard kiss.
