SO. About SPN next season...

Who do you want to play Lucifer? My default answer to "Who should be the Devil?" is always Viggo Mortensen because, really. REALLY.

Would they even bother having anyone play him, though? I kind of think it'd be creepier if he was sort of...disembodied or whatever. Whispering in the trees and all that. Although I guess over the course of a television season, that might grow tiring.

I suppose they could always go with the body-hopping route, but. meh.

I thought maybe he could be the Eye of Satan, over in Mordor. Or conveniently and oh-how-likely hop into Sammeh. If he hopped into Ruby that'd be weird, even if temporary. I suppose Castiel could bamf in as the instead temporarily inhabited. My hopeful vote goes to random-but-awesome person. Or Bruce Campbell.

It was on the list of bubble shows with poor chances of being picked up (sadly, I didn't save the link) and Tyler Labine's show got picked up by Fox, so I thought Reaper was basically gone.

UGH. It sounds like it probably will be. That makes me SO SAD. :(

It isn't officially canceled yet, but the people who created/produced it are moving on to other projects and the guy who plays Sock has another show in the works.

Oh my! Remember when Viggo played Lucifer in The Prophecy?!!! That was so amazing1 Every time when I think who would make awesome Lucifer I think of him, or of Christopher Walken. Him playing archangel Gabriel was like so memorable!

GUH. I love The Prophecy a ridiculous amount. RIDICULOUS. It was responsible for my fangirling of Viggo, Walken, AND Eric Stoltz. GAH.

I thought for sure Sam would be the vessel - like the blood would start running toward him, and he'd back up all scared and confused, get cornered, or get forced by Ruby, etc. Then Dean would finally bust through, see Sammy struggling to escape the "infection" (not unlike his premonition (NOT halucination!) in the mirror with it branching out over his skin and taking over his flash) ... so Dean tries to help him, Sam screaming he's sorry, he's wrong, etc. Dean kills Ruby, and just as gets to Sam -- WHOOMP! SATAN!

Season Five would be how to get LUCIFER out of Sam OMG. SAVE OR KILL SAM, RIGHT?!?!?!

Which still might happen, yo! But we need struggle-time for Sam to know Dean's voicemail was fake. That Dean didn't stop trying to save him. For Dean to know that Sam did what he thought was right. They the were both wrong, both played. That they forgive each other. And the split-second that eye-fucking happens, where they're concrete-for-real-for-evs-back to BFFFF -- something awful happens.

Because Zach got what he wanted - Lucifer's out! And it's Dean who will defeat Lucifer, right? Who better to make Dean have to kill than Sam? HELLO?? KRIPKE???

but I don't want them to fight each other all season! Maybe he would be in Sam just for a little bit? or, ooooh, what if he jumped in Dean instead? I doubt that would ever happen, but it'd be pretty funny, Satan being all, 'HA HA, ANGELS! WHACHA GONNA DO NOW, SUCKERS? I JUST PWNED YOU!'

You know ... something like that? Too clever, too perfect - to ever be on "the real show". I often feel like fans have the better ideas, and this one would be splendid. Can you imagine how hard it would rock for Cas.et.all to ask Sam for help? Hehehehehe. I'm going to go to bed giggling just thinking of the new possibilities. ^_^
