That's actually kind of depressing - I could've sworn there were more. I mean, there are states I've driven through, and by the end of the year I can check off Colorado and Hawaii, but really. I need to visit more states.

so...who's going to put me up on my road trip? :D

Mine's really sad, too. And the only reason I've been to GA and FL is for Supernatural conventions, which makes it DOUBLE THE SAD.

I SERIOUSLY AM. like, technically I've been in Minnesota, but that was only at the airport a couple of times, and I'm not counting those (if I did, my list would've been much longer because I like to schedule my layovers at airports I've never been to.)

I've visited nine states. It's kind of funny how the map looks because it's this cluster of states bordering New York and then there's California, Nevada, Texas and Florida all by their lonesomes.

I like in my map how I've got most of the South covered, with two blank spots in Mississippi and Alabama, like I was all, 'AVOID AT ALL COSTS.'

I can't think of any reason why I would want to go to Utah, but plenty of reasons why I would like to go to Vegas. XD

Ha, yeah ... Ironic that a state so useless has some of the BEST national parks. Zion is only a couple hours drive from here, and some of the most amazing and accessible beauty I've ever seen.

Hiking to Emerald Pools is only about 3 miles -- and you get triple-layer waterfalls hundreds of feet tall, falling into large pools that are heaven to wade in, all along sandstone cliffs and hanging gardens.

Zion Narrows is 1-16 miles long, depending how much you want to see, but you hike up the river into slot canyons 30 feet wide and 1000 feet tall. The water has carved amazing holes and curves into the stone.

Angel's Landing is the hardest I've done, 5 miles but up 1300 feet. At the top, you stand on a rock and see 360 degrees of Zion - mountains, rivers, plateaus, canyons ... it's truly spectacular.

Vegas? Meh. I like this town. But all the hiking around us made me LOVE it! <3
