In case you missed it, there was a mad frenzy of claiming for spn_j2_bigbang and I was lucky enough to grab TWO fics by two fabulous fabulous people. OMG SO EXCITED. I have ideas, people. BIG IDEAS.

and what I'm really excited about is this is the first real spark of creativity I've had in what seems like forever. I actually started sketching some ideas out - although I'd really like to wait until I see the drafts before solidifying anything AHEM AHEM - so there's that.

I've also started reading fic again, hoping that jumpstarts something. I started with going through the j2_everafter stories, and oh man, I have to rec this one: Put That Thing Back Where It Came From (or so help me) by vorpalblades. It's based off Monsters, Inc., which, yes, gave me pause, too, but trust me, it's fantastic. FANTASTIC.

Some lame one about Jared being a merman. I mostly just felt sorry for both authors, that's why I took them. ;D
