When I got into work Friday, I was very much looking forward to a 3-day weekend. and then I found out we don't have today off. SIGH. but! My weekened was enjoyable nonetheless.
- At the beginning of the year, I toyed with the idea of setting a goal for myself of writing something at least once a month, but decided against because I thought there was no way I could do it. but, hey! I had done it anyway! Just a little ficlet last month, but something a little more substantial on Friday - well, substantial in that it's got more words. Really not that much more plot, but it does have a lot more porn. Go me! (granted, it's hockey fic so, like, only 3 of you care, but *I'm* pretty damn proud of myself anyways. nyah!)
- Valentine's Day Game! Thank you thank you THANK YOU to the lovely lovely people who left a note for me. and, yes, like most of you, I also got an extra little shot of happy out of reading what was written to my friends. ALSO! I got v-gifts! Thank you both to Ti and to the anonymouse. You guys have no idea how much that made me smile.

regala_electra and I did a COMPLETELY ACCURATE re-enactment of Beyonce's video for "Single Ladies".
- Sunday was spent for relaxing and trying to get some writing and art done. Trying, because I didn't really accomplish much. pthbbbbt. Hopefully it's just a case of trying to get back into it. y'know, like when you fall out of exercising regularly, and then have to force yourself to make it habit again - which, yes, has also happened to me recently. It just seems like I have so much that I want to finish. hmm.

I honestly think you guys should film these karaoke events, as I am sure they are VERY ENTERTAINING. Since my singing is the kind that makes babies cry, mine is only for in the CAR, but I always like hearing other people sing!
I'm feeling the same way about writing. I keep trying and I keep...not quite succeeding. But I'm posting something today, come hell or high water. I'm going to make it happen! You can, too! <3
(And sorry you didn't get the day off. I am going to go see F13 today, so I'm simultaneously scared out of my mind and EXTREMELY EXCITED to see Jared onscreen. EEP.)
