Seriously, that ending is the equivalent of a writer posting 25 parts of a fic and then slapping an ending on it because she gets bored. I mean, what? Deus ex Bobbychina much? bah.

but, even so, I enjoyed the episode enough. Certainly much more than I would have thought for a Sera Gamble-penned episode. Liked the twist of the siren being the fed, and him being all, 'I can be your perfect little brother' to Dean. Liked how he set up the fight between Sam and Dean, although the way he was watching them was pretty creepy - as I said to Kate, I see so much badfic coming out of this. SO MUCH BADFIC. hmm. Also loved Bobby's wall o'phones. HA! That was pretty freakin' clever.

but mostly - MOST OF ALL - can we talk about how the siren chose to not be a stripper, but a potential brother for Dean? BECAUSE WHAT DEAN WANTS MOST IS HIM AND HIS BROTHER FOREVER AND EVER. I roll around in glee now.

That made me so incredibly GLEEFUL!!!!! It almost makes up for the fact that the entire last scene dismissed everything that this episode brought up. *sigh*

ahahaha, YES. I choose to concentrate on only the good and sensible (and COMPLETELY RIDICULOUSLY GLEEFUL) parts.

I'm happy to know that I wasn't the only one who saw that ending as loads of fail. I was really loving the episode, and still love the first 3/4, until that ending came. We finally have a outpouring of the issues and that's the result??? Bad writers!!! Very bad writers!!!
