I have been obsessed with making this vid for the past two days. This song popped up on winamp and it was like, 'dude! RayK and Fraser! perfect song!' Strangely enough, I've had this icon with the keywords 'i try to comprehend you' for months and never thought to do this before.

Oh, this put a HUGE grin on my face. You're right! A perfect song for them. "I'm trying to read you correctly, but I've got a dyslexic heart." Couldn't be more them. And the song itself, despite the wistful words, is so upbeat and has such a happy feeling about it. I'm just reeling with RayK-love after watching this.

This is lovely. I am developing an interest in vidding and have spent the past couple of months rooting about various vidding communities, where a lot of people seem to go all Spielbergish on what is and isn't the cool thing to do. Quite frankly I wish they'd all just relax a bit.

I found your vid funny, clever and really well done. I'd never heard this song before, either, and it was a nice surprise.

A question: do you normally go searching for songs to fit your ideas or do you just grab what you come across by chance and go with it? I am curious because a lot of vids I've seen use really good songs, but generally music that wouldn't have occurred to me in a million years because I'd simply never heard of it.

oh, I really don't pay attention to any of the comms or anything. I pretty much just fumbled my way through things until I figured it out on my own. Sometimes things are just easier that way.

and this is only my second vid, so I don't really have a system yet. The first one was done at the request of a friend and this one the song kind of walloped me over the head and said, 'MAKE A VID!'

There are no words for how much I love this video. I can only fangirl squee and flail over Ray's butt bouncing in Fraser's face. I LOVED THAT SCENE! Hehe.
