The worst thing about hockey fandom is that you never know when one of your favorite pairings will be TORN APART MUCH IN THE SAME WAY THAT SOMEONE WOULD TEAR YOUR STILL BEATING HEART FROM YOUR CHEST.

:( I'm sorry. The first thought I had when I saw the signing was how upset you would be. Ugh. This is the kind of thing that kept me from getting into hockey RPF for so long--it's bad enough when you're invested in them as a regular sports team, but it's so much worse when you ship them.

SERIOUSLY. I was heartbroken when we traded Leetch, but at least I didn't have the addition of worrying about Mike Richter's broken heart to go along with it. Poor Boyle. ;________;
