A doctor at Cornell University is mutilating little girls who he has decided have oversized (and therefor, of *course*, 'abnormal') clitorises. I...I don't even have the words right now. Read more about it here and how you can voice your protest - warning though for possibly triggery discussion of what exactly he's doing.

lizardspots has a post on her thoughts more fully explaining what is going on from a medical standpoint. While I appreciate her input and explanation, I still have very strong concerns about just how ethical this doctor's experiments are, and exactly how necessary they are.

Thank you for this link. I had to stop eating my lunch, because it's so deeply disturbing; it definitely needs to be spread far and wide.

I reposted to FB and also emailed Cornell's Medical Provost.

This is so sickening I can't even express it, really.
