well, one thought, really: DISAPPOINTING. The one thing I was really looking forward to was the epic battle at Hogwarts and...we get the Death Eaters as juvenile delinquents. ooooh, let's kick some plates and break some windows! SCARY. ~oooooh~

pffft. What happens in the next movie? Do they have to do community service at Hogwarts, where Fenrir learns the value of believing in yourself through the power of dance?

Now I need to re-read the book to get my fix. SIGH SIGH.

I actually loved a lot about the movie, but the missing battle made me SAD. It's supposed to be an EPIC battle, and how do you leave out an epic battle?! At the least they should have shown the Death Eaters running through the castle and running into professors and Aurors, considering they made it a point to show the Aurors protecting the school earlier in the movie.

I'm glad the last book is two movies - maybe they can at least include, you know, the ENTIRE BATTLE FOR HOGWARTS. (Which might be why they didn't include the battle scene in this one? Because they knew a huge battle in Hogwarts would be coming up in Deathly Hallows Pt. 2? Hrmmms.)

I looked into it and looks like that's exactly it, not wanting two big battles in back-to-back movies, to which I say PTHBBBBT.

sigh sigh.

I just really hope we at least get Charlie and Bill in the final movies.
