And yessss to the shipping of Kirk/McCoy and why it works for the Reboot, because, YES. EXACTLY. I mean, I watch the old ST and LOVE K/S in ToS (because god, it's so adorably painfully OBV) but in the reboot, I'm like "nawww Kirk-Spock bromance!! GRRRAAA Kirk/Bones HAAAWT"

It's such a good story! I mean, I love the idea of them in space anyways, but then this is such an interesting way to play it out, and still so in character for both of them.
