Inspired by this thread, I've decided it was all a bad dream. The Wings really won! It was glorious! It was a clean game, Sidney was sad but a good captain and congratulated the team. The area was filled with cheers! Lots of celebratory honking in the streets of Detroit. Lots of partying late into the night. We did it, Cathy! *hugssssssssss*

I had to take someone off my Facebook news feed because he's a HUGE fan of THAT TEAM, and he wasn't even gloating, just being happy about it, but I still couldn't look at his posts. and OF COURSE his goddamn celebration photos still show up on the side. ARRRGH.

and I keep getting ambushed by pictures on other sites. UGH. DO NOT WANT.

SIGH. whatever. now I will concentrate all of my energy on hoping Sather gets Tampa's GM drunk and talks him into trading us Lecavalier for Gomez and Redden -- don't look at me that way. IT COULD HAPPEN.
