(no subject)

So I've moved. There was a lot of bruising, a couple of very freaked out cats, and my car died in the middle of it all, but we're all pretty much settled in. Really like the place so far, and one of my roommates is a baker and is constantly bringing home delicious things - last night was cookies, and a couple of days ago she brought muffins. The only negative is that they still hadn't finished everything by the time we moved in, which means I have a large hole in my wall where they're...I don't know. Putting a vent in? The cats are *incredibly* interested in it, though, so I've had to tape cardboard over it until it gets finished because we've all seen that episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, right?

Also, since I'm in the basement, I only have a small window way up high. Charlie keeps staring up at it, and then looking at me and meowing because he can't get to it. I was thinking of putting up some cat-sized shelves so they can go up and sit by it, but that will have to wait until I'm completely finished with unpacking and moving things around.

In other news, I've finally booked my flight for Wincon. WINCON! Cannot wait for it.
