Sadly, I don't dress like that all the time (but, MAN, if I could...)
Anyways, so. I'm Cathy. I currently live in Brooklyn, NY with a roommate and my two cats.
A Few Things to Know About Me
- I've got the Oriental flavoring, yo. That is, my mom's Korean. My dad's American - Irish and, well. American. I suppose if you want to be nitpicky, his ancestors mostly came from Britain, but we're talking almost four-hundred years ago. before there was a U.S. so, y'know. American.
- yes, I used to be on a roller derby team and, yes, that does make me extremely awesome, thanks. Unfortunately, I shattered my ankle and had to give it up...for the time being.
- I was born over in Korea and lived there until I was a little over a year old (yes, Korean is my first language and, no, I don't speak it now). Since then, I've lived in: San Francisco, CA; Albany, Loudonville, and Troy, NY; Cherry Hill, NJ; Brogue, PA; York, PA (in four different places); Nyack, NY; Poughkeepsie, NY; Baltimore, MD; Laurel, MD; back to Brogue; Jersey City, NJ; and now in Brooklyn, NY.
- Some of you new folks probably only know me as some crazy girl who rambles on about SPN and roller derby and writes fic, but I also draw! Sometimes I think I'm a stronger writer, but most of the time, even though I don't draw as often as I'd like or should, I think my art skills are better than my writing ones. cathydraws, which is where all the dirty pictures are anyways and you should all join to keep me from getting all emo over the lack of watchers.- My first fandom (and by fandom, I mean something I actively took part in as a writer or artist) was for the movie Pitch Black. After that, I discovered CFAN and the comics fandom. From there it was almost three years of the INSANITY that was popslash. I managed to catch the tail-end of LOTRPS and around that time really started churning out the HP fanart. Then I wasn't *really* involved in a fandom until the Winchester boys and all their dysfunctional loveliness popped up on my tv screen. I'm also head-over-heels for Due South and the beauty of RayK and Fraser's eternal love for one another (yes, I know the show's been off-air for years, I DON'T CARE, it's still new and shiny to me). After years of being a hockey fan, I'm finding myself slowly turn into a hockey fangirl. I'm not sure whether I should be horrified or not. And now I have pretty much had my brain eaten by the new Star Trek movie. I blame Anton Yelchin.
- If I had to put a label on it, I would say that I'm a lesbian with a healthy appreciation for the beauty of the male form. I like looking at guys, especially pretty ones; I just don't want to *do* anything with them most of the time. except for Callum Keith Rennie because he is TEH SEX.
and if Dean Winchester were a real person, I would probably hump him. but only if it's in the Impala. and if Led Zeppelin is playing.
- I have a fantastic rack.
- My idea of a perfect night is to go out karaoking with my friends and then head off to a club and dance until dawn. SERIOUSLY. I love dancing and I love love LOVE karaoke. I have no problem with making myself look like an ass in front of complete strangers.
- I have a younger sister who has the MOST AWESOME JOB EVER. Seriously.
- My own job is pretty cool. I work as the Web Production Designer/Graphic Designer/Photoshop Guru (or something) for a local paper.
- Charlie is my adorable and possibly retarded kitty. He came into my life just a week after my beloved Molly died. Lola is my adorable and sassy kitty. I adopted her a few months after getting Charlie because I decided that two cats would be more fun. HA.
- I'm really a shy and quiet little wallflower who's perfectly happy just sitting back and watching the world go by. no, really. REALLY.

My favorite alcoholic beverage is rum and Coke, and my current favorite song to sing at karaoke is "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)". I bleed Ranger blue. and, yes, my favorite color is really pink.
